get into and out of kayaks without using the proper methods, can actually risk life and limb, especially when

Once you have decided which dock suits your needs, available space and budget, you need to
establish how you are going to attach, affix or position your kayak dock.
Tie-up (OK): Cleats - to tie off to, to hold your dock in position: $15 each with hardware.
Cleats: stainless hardware - bolted thru frame

Cleats and bumpers - tied off to floating dock
Free standing installation (BETTER): 3" pipe hoop connectors. $45 each for 2 1/2" pipe.
We have two types - one which can attach anywhere along the frame and the other which
connects in the end slots of the frame. Pipe (which is purchased locally) is then driven down into the seabed, and can be covered with PVC for cosmetic purposes.

When extending further out into the water which is over 6' deep we also have the option of
anchoring the "seaward" end of the dock. For example: Piling in water over 10' become very
expensive and need to be pounded deep down into the seabed to be stable. Anchoring
provides a good and less expensive alternative.
Attach to a dock/seawall or pilings (BEST): Slide assemblies - explained fully with pictures at
the Slide Assemblies page, are the most stable and secure method of installing or attaching your dock - especially if you encounter boat traffic and boat wakes.

Slide assemblies are $749/pair and usually only two slides are required for up to 60' of dock.
Floating dock slides $499/pair.
Overhead assist bar: $149 - standard height 36 inches - can be made higher and lower to help
with getting in or out. More than one bar can be used - some customers prefer a low bar to
get under their armpit - or lean their arm on - while pulling their body up with the higher bar.
Cleats: $15 each with stainless hardware installed
Bump Strip: $5.50/ft uninstalled/$7.50
Frame plug: $7 each - to plug frame corner openings for bump strip installation.
The plugs above are inserted in the corners to cover the connector hole and allow bumps strip
to be attached and screwed into the frame to hold it securely. If installed - we cut and miter
the corners as in the picture above - uninstalled we provide strips in 10 ft lengths and the screws to attach them.
4 step fiberglass stairs $475 with aluminum handrail $99.
3, 4 and 5 step aluminum ladders - $119/$129/$139.
Other options: You may elect to make the slip longer or deck larger - it's a matter of adding
dock sections. Dock section prices are provided in the pricing section above.

YOU NEED AN INSTALLER?
How do I install this dock or do I need an installer?
About 50% of our customers self install our docks. Tie off, and pipe hoop methods are very
easy, but even 50% of our customers install the slide assemblies. Full instructions are available
at our Help & Support pages - complete with pictures and videos.
STEP FIVE: GET A SHIPPING QUOTATION
Most kayak docks are shipped on
a pallet (except for the 4 X 8 kayak docks which is shipped in a big box). You will need a
shipping quote and it can be delivered to the nearest shipping depot and held for pick-up
(least expensive) or be brought out to your home for an additional residential delivery fee.
Please supply your zip code and name of your city - and we will supply you with both quotes - depot/home.
As our docks are shipped with major trucking companies - their usual RESIDENTIAL DELIVERY
policy is to bring the freight to your address, come to your door and notify you that your
freight is here - and it is your responsibility to unload it from the truck. They of course provide
additional cost services such as lift-gate (to assist in getting the pallet off the truck) or "inhome"
delivery (they will bring the product to a location on your property).
RESIDENTIAL DELIVERY: is defined as a home or non-commercial property.
