| HOW TO INSTALL SLIDE ASSEMBLY FLOAT EXTENDERS |
When installing AccuDock floating docks onto pilings, there will be situations whereby the pilings are too far apart - and the float side doesn't reach to the center of both pilings.
For example - pilings are 9 feet apart - and you are trying to install an 8' dock to the pilings with our slide assemblies.
AccuDock has an accessory called a "Slide Assembly float extender" for this purpose: It extends the frame out so that the float now spans both pilings. The float extender comes in different
lengths.

- Measure the distance from center to center on the two pilings that the float will be mounted between. Have this measurement handy when ordering your float extenders.
- The float extender is made up of two parts - the extender piece, and the extender holder:

- Slide the extender holder into the frame slot, and then slide the extender thru it into the frame:

- You may have to remove one of the "jam bolt nuts" from under the frame so that the slide assembly connector base can fit on the frame and not hit the nuts that are
welded to the bottom side of the frame. This can be cut off with a hack-saw - it is an aluminum nut.
