Born from a deep appreciation for Fort Lauderdale’s Intracoastal and Atlantic Ocean, Marina Village cultivates a harmonious blend of coastal beauty and thoughtful architecture. At the heart of it all lies The Shorely, a transformed 500-person ferry, now a luxurious lounge and entertainment venue offering curated entertainment, energizing cocktails, and bottle service, promising an unforgettable experience day or night.

Marina Village, with its heart set on unlocking the full potential of its stunning waterfront, embarked on a mission to create a true boater’s paradise, a gateway to the water’s edge. They sought a manufacturer with expertise and vision to design a floating dock solution that would not only serve the practical needs of their patrons but also complement the natural beauty of the area. The docks they envisioned would be more than mere structures, they would be an invitation to all who wished to experience the magic of the water. After understanding AccuDock’s capabilities, the development team entrusted AccuDock to complete all of the on-shore work as well to bring uniformity and a beautiful aesthetic finish to the entire property. This included elevated platforms, stairs, and additional access ramps. To ensure this vision became reality, Marina Village established design standards, with not only the highest levels of safety and functionality but also a seamless and beautiful integration with the surrounding environment, reflecting their deep commitment to accessibility and beauty for everyone.

Marina Village has proudly announced the completion of their waterfront access enhancements, a project that promises to significantly elevate their visitor’s experience. An L-shaped floating dock extending 100’ complemented by two 6′ x 50′ floating docks now grace the marina, offering ample space for boaters and water enthusiasts. These impressive structures are seamlessly connected to the shore by two 3′ x 20′ aluminum gangways, ensuring easy and convenient boat access to Marina Village.

Main access to the old Fisher Island Ferry, which now serves as The Shorley is right off Marina Village from an elevated platform constructed by AccuDock, as well as the main 8’ x 14’ gangway. The elevated platform can also be accessed from both the north and south side of the lower Marina walkways via 42’ gangways from each direction. Both gangways rest on aluminum walkways that are decorated with safety railings on the outside edge. Finally, an emergency exit ADA Gangway serves as another point of entry/exit to The Shorley on the southern side of the ship.

The south side of the property provides two convenient access points to serve the entire facility. An aluminum, handicap accessible walkway connects the Jungle Queen ticket booth to the lower concrete dock. These ADA compliant walkways with sturdy aluminum railings ensure safe and easy access, while custom-designed staircases provide another entry option.

The north side is equally equipped with boat docks and gangways, in addition to a 5′ x 30′ ADA compliant aluminum gangway. These upgrades demonstrate Marina Village’s commitment to providing an exceptional waterfront experience.

AccuDock’s expertise is evident in the newly expanded floating docks and walkways gracing Marina Village. These beautifully crafted structures not only provide incredibly convenient and safe boat access but also enhance the overall aesthetic of the waterfront.
