About the Project
Originally outfitted with 42 stationary slips meticulously constructed from a combination of aluminum and concrete, the dock had undeniably reached the end of its operational life after four decades of enduring the relentless forces of nature. Erected in 1980 as a sturdy cornerstone of the marina, the structure had gradually succumbed to the inevitable ravages of time. Its once robust frame had become increasingly compromised by exposure to the elements, with corrosion creeping into the aluminum and hairline fractures marring the concrete. The dock’s condition had deteriorated progressively over the years, but the decisive blow was delivered by the most recent hurricane. The tempestuous winds and surging waters inflicted catastrophic damage, accelerating the structure’s decline to a state of abject disrepair.

About the Solution
The 600’ marina offers 52 slips designed to comfortably accommodate vessels up to 60 feet, with a 5’ x 25’ ADA-compliant aluminum gangway and a dedicated T-Head for larger yachts of up to 100 feet. The dock is constructed with premium Sand Castle PVC decking for durability and style, and anchored by a sturdy HD Piling Hoop system with four rollers for added stability. Secure Aluminum S Cleats and Power pedestals complete each slip, providing boaters with convenient access, essential utilities, and peace of mind with built-in fire protection.
